With the rise and rise of smartphones and apps in the marketplace, on multiple operating systems, with vastly different devices, creating consistent, desirable and, most importantly, accessible experiences is becoming a Herculean challenge! Focussing more on the user experience than technology, this is the story of one persons journey through the wonderland of mobile accessibility on the hunt for a cohesive set of guidelines and standards. It shares the questions raised, some answers found and a few ideas of how we can meet the challenges in the future.
