Reporting accessibility issues to web site operators: reflections and advice from a user's perspective
Presented by:
Jason White,
N/A at N/A
Experience level:
Beginner
The content of this session derives from the presenter's experience in reporting accessibility-related concerns to Web site and Web application authors. After situating such reports within a larger context, suggestions are offered as to how to solicit, acknowledge and address comments from users that identify accessibility-related issues. Although many of these appropriate practices may seem obvious, it is the presenter's observation that they are not universally followed, hence there is a need to consider them explicitly.
Jason's notes about reporting accessibility issues to web site operators can be accessed online.
