The social media accessibility project

Media Access Australia has conducted research into the accessibility of social media. The project, supported by the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network, is creating a report on the current state of social media access, practical user guides on how consumers with disabilities can participate in the benefits that social media can provide. This session will share the preliminary findings of the project, the tips and tricks used to navigate around the accessibly barriers of popular social media tools and how the practical guides have been created to support the access needs of consumers with disabilities.
