Since 1997, Jason has contributed to a variety of international Web accessibility standards. He has served (2000-2004 with Gregg Vanderheiden) as Co-Chair of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Working Group, and (2000-2005) as an editor of the WCAG specification. Other working groups in which Jason has participated include the Protocols and Formats working group (W3C) and the Daisy Consortium's Technical Committee, in which he contributed to the Daisy 3 standard.
Jason recently completed a Ph.D. at the University of Melbourne in contemporary analytic philosophy of language, focusing on Robert Brandom's inferentialist semantics. He is also a law school graduate and an avid Linux user.
