Stewart Hay (BSc Multidisciplinary Science (GIS) ’95 Curtin UT, MBA ’08 UNSW) is the managing Managing Director and lead GIS Consultant of OneSphere Consulting. Prior to this he was General Manager of the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (SSSI) and was the Chair of the NSW Spatial Sciences Institute. From 2004 to 2008 he managed the NSW Rural Fire Services GIS team which is the largest emergency services GIS team in Australia. He has over 15 years experience designing, developing and implementing GIS solutions for organisations across Australia. During this time he has supported organisations involved with environmental management, utilities, emergency services and all tiers of government.
