Silvia Pfeiffer has worked on novel media technology for more than 15 years and is an internationally renowned expert in new Web video standards. She works within the W3C on HTML5 video and currently contracts to Google on all topics related to video accessibility. As a member of the W3C accessibility task force, Silvia contributed to specifying solutions for captioning, audio descriptions, and video navigation. Her current focus is on the new WebVTT caption file format.
